Helena Beare has operated as a highly motivated professional Legal, Compliance and HR Consultant with strong inter-personal skills and a proven track record in compliance consultancy, business partnering and business development. She has partnered with CEOs, executives and solopreneurs to assist the businesses’ professional development but to ensure that they but operate within the appropriate regulatory frameworks.
Helena started her career working as an Assistant Trading Standards Officer at Walsall MBC and has since worked as freelancer with Walsall Trading Standards and Nottingham Trading Standards. She further enhanced her compliance and customer service credentials within a number of commercial consultancy firms.
In 2012 she joined the Ministry of Justices Claims Management Regulation Unit (CMRU) as a specialist contractor where she assessed competency and suitability of claims management companies to offer regulated services within the Personal Injury, Employment and Financial Products and Services sectors. She also provided compliance guidance in relation to the regulatory framework and became a specialist and trainer in compliant client terms and conditions and associated paperwork.
In 2018 she left the CRMU to concentrate of developing her own consultancy services and has worked with many companies including a number of claims management companies. She has been instrumental in successfully navigating the Financial Conduct Authority authorisation process for her clients and has assisted their ongoing FCA compliance and reporting requirements
For many years Helena has been an external independent assessor for the Which? Trusted Trader Scheme Helena’s view has always been that is to sustain longevity in the market the consumer must be the focus of all elements of the business.
Helena holds an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Wolverhampton and the Diploma in Consumer Affairs . Helena continues to work with a portfolio of clients both inside and outside of the regulated claims management sector.
